Information: A collision occurred on the M-5 “Ural” highway, Moscow - Ryazan - Penza - Samara - Ufa - Chelyabinsk (main direction) highway, (https://www.google.ca/maps/place/54°40'09.1"N+39°35'27.2"E/@54.6691045,39.5907987,3a,75y,18.32h,82.85t/), 179th kilometer 250th meter, Ryazan region, around 17:00. In cloudy weather, during rain, on a wet road, 38-year-old Alexey Ivanov, 15 years of driving experience, driver of a blue Volkswagen Polo, 2014 year of manufacture, coming from Mordovia with his 3 female passengers, drove on the side of the road, lost control, and collided with a black 2002 VAZ 2110 with its front right side, driven by 24-year-old Alexander Knyazev, with a female passenger. As a result of the collision, the Volkswagen driver and 3 of his passengers died before the ambulance arrived. Everyone was wearing seatbelts when the accident occured. The driver of the VAZ died in hospital, his female passenger was taken to hospital and was under inpatient treatment. A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the car accident under part 5 of article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules of road traffic and operation of vehicles, causing the death of two or more persons by negligence).
